Problem

You need to connect to broom handles. For example a telescope and a regular one to extend from 4.5 m to some 6m. SAM 0731.JPG SAM 0732.JPG

Parts List

  1. 2 x Perforated Steel tape 150mm x 17 mm (8 holes > 6mm)
  2. 2 x Allen Screw 6 x 40 mm
  3. 2 x Wingnut 6 mm
  4. 2 x Shrink Tubing 20 mm x 140 mm
  5. 1 x Allen Key 4 mm

Steps

  1. Cut the shrink tube to fit SAM 0723.JPG
  2. Pull the shrink tube over perforated steel tape and heat with a lighter to shrink it
  3. Bend the steel tape and connect ends with the Allen Screw using the Wing Nut and the Allen Key SAM 0727.JPG
  4. Create a connection between the two handles at two points where you tie together the parts with the perforated steel tape SAM 0729.JPG
